Daz’s Nom Ride Report
written by Daz South West Chapter 10th September 2011

We were greeted with a beautiful Southwest W.A. Spring sunny day, the pack formed up at Shell Gateway Bunbury where meet and greet commenced at 1100hrs for a departure at 1130hrs.I was impressed with a quick scan of the car park to see that there was a good turnout of riders including members, mates and supporters, a total of 26 bikes turned out with the extra one or two on the way.
A quick ride and safety brief was given to the captive audience and the ride began!
With 207ks to cover and all bikes running I made my way to the front, and the pack formed up behind me with the Pres on my left....We departed Shell heading South to pick up the S.W. Hwy out of Bunbury heading East for 16ks we passed through Burekup and hung a right hander and headed up the HILL to Collie were we briefly stopped for fuel, before we left Collie via Williams/Collie Rd.
Leaving Collie the pace picked up and the pack well and truly into the ride buy now enjoyed a well paved experience through the flowing countryside for a remaindering 68ks,were we hung a left and headed up the Pinjarra/Williams Rd for 18ks were the ride stopped for Lunch at the Quindanning Pub and an opportunity to talk to members and mates over a few cold country aisles!
After everybody had enjoyed the relaxing break at Quindanning we saddled up and departed for Williams via the Pinjarra/Williams Rd were the ride stopped for fuel and the opportunity for a quick chin wag before we mounted up once more and set sail for the final destination THE CORNY HOTEL in Narrogin, were a S.W.G.M took place and the members and guests were felt welcomed by the Corny's Custodians and we settled in for the night with great food and entertainment!
Many thanks to all the members including three chapter Presidents Toad, Macro,1Mother to My Brother Kellogs and his mate Danny for completing the journey with me and to my cleanskin brothers a special thanks to Quinny, Sam and Flino for making it a very enjoyable weekend!
