Arty's Nom Ride

by Arty   14th February 2010.

We all met at Caltex Baldivis at 0830 hrs to leave for Potters Gorge at 0900hrs.
Nom ride It was a pleasant day from the start and I was sure it would remain so. I found out the day before that Forrest and Government roads down at Harvey had been closed, so a change of direction had to be made.

We headed down the freeway onto Forrest Highway,
met with RC, South Chapter, Stubby and Lee-ann from BUACA at Settlers Road House. It was there Surly became
ill and gave his apology as he was unable to continue on with the ride

We headed on down to Marriot Road and crossed over to South West Highway and headed up to Harvey where we stopped at the Bakery, we then double backed to Mornington Road. Nom ride

The road was windy, hilly and narrow which I hope made for good riding.

We followed Gastaldo Road to Coalfields Highway and from Coalfields on to Wellington Weir Road. We then turned left down Tom Jones Drive which took us through the Jarrah Forrest into Potters Gorge.
At Potters Gorge we were greeted by a prepared sausage sizzle of which my wife Mandy and our daughter Helen prepared.
I hope everybody enjoyed the day as I did, many thanks to you all.
Special thanks goes to Wolf, as he spent many hours and miles setting the ride up with me.
To my wife Mandy and my Daughter Helen, thankyou both for the sausage sizzle.
Regards,  Arty.
