Private West's Nom Ride

Butch's Group

Due to unforseen circumstances I had to do my ride mid week. My thanks go to
Bronco and the other riders who could make it.

The weather was fine and I took the lead on my 250cc Yamy along Baldivis Road, Mundijong Road to South West Highway through Jarrahdale over Serpentine Dam past Karnet Prison & the Buddhist monastry and turned left into South West Highway and stopped at Floopers Road House in North Dandalup for a cuppa. Then headed towards Mandurah by taking South Street which becomes Lakes Road, past the Murray Airfield and into a head wind and onto the freeway.

I had arranged to go back to the Pt Kennedy RSL but being a weekday the kitchen was closed. But never mind the ride was fantastic and a great thrill.

But watch out from here on in - gone is the 250 Yamy and in comes the 883 Harley - Private West may even get a promotion who knows!

regards
Private West
