South Chapter Jimmy's Nom Ride
written by Jimmy 2nd April, 2011
It was a great day for a ride as most have been of late.
12 bikes met at Gingers Road House Great Northern Highway, Upper Swan to begin the ride to meet up with the Geraldton Chapter on their .45 Calibre Dice run arriving in Jurien Bay Fire Station for a night of music and drunken shenanigans.
A quick throw of the dice and about to leave, a timely arrival by Diesel kept us chatting waiting for him to fuel up and we were off. Heading down Great Northern Highway to Gin Gin Pub, a little detour around the roundabout on Cockward Rd (oops) and a U turn performed to arrive at Gin Gin Pub for a another quick throw of the dice and a very quick bevy, then onto Lancelin Hotel.
Another quick throw of the dice another quick bevy and off again to Cervantes The decision was made to stop at the The Servo instead of the pub for the last throw of the dice, not the best table used for the throw surface a little to uneven and larger gaps for dice to fall through but managed to keep it on the table for most of the time, a quick calculation and Diesel the dice winner of the day receiving the $65.00 dollars half of the funds raised $10.00 dice run charge.
A raffle for a bottle of American Honey bourbon and the remainder of the cash from the dice run accumulated to a tidy 200.00 donated to the Geraldton Chapter for Legacy.
Thanks to everyone that came on my (who the ƒ… is Jimmy Nom ride) and made it a success
