Albany Chapter

The Albany Chapter began with a discussion between two old shipmates, one a member of Patriots WA South Chapter, the other, a motorbike rider from Albany. So, with interest from half a dozen ex Defence Force members in town, combined with enthusiastic support from the South Chapter, the beginning of the Albany Chapter was born.

Growth in membership has been steady and we received the blessing of the National body of Patriots Australia in mid 2009. In September 2009 at a function hosted by the Albany group, we were declared a Chapter in our own right by our foster Chapter. Though we are still under probation, we will become a stand alone Chapter in 2010.

The Albany Chapter is poised to rival some metro chapters with the number of members by early 2010 with interest in Patriots WA in Albany being shown at every event we attend.

The Chapter enjoys short monthly meetings and attempts to fit in at least one ride, as a Chapter, per month. We also enjoy the company of other clubs in Albany and their activities but mostly we look forward to meeting up with our brother and sister Patriot’s WA members from around the state whenever we can.
